The Elephant In The Room Will Fall And Kill Dave Foley

Thirty minutes before the event, I found out The Kids In The Hall were taking part in a Q+A at the CBC to promote their comeback, Death Comes To Town. I dashed out the door and got downtown just as they were being introduced to the stage. It was a madhouse, overshadowing the show they were there to promote. A few of the highlights included a debate concerning which of them will die first, asking each person who asked a question what their neighbourhood subway stop was, and begging interviewer Jian Ghomeshi to sing Moxy Fruvous hit Green Eggs and Ham for them. Of especial interest to Gary, when asked whether they did a lot of drinking during filming Dave Foley replied contemptuously, “Yeah. We were in North Bay.”

Thank you, Japan.

During supper time here in Osaka, Japan my girlfriend’s mom and I try to teach eachother the ways our home countries.

It was while looking for the Atomu (Astro Boy) theme song in Japanese that we came across this stunning video. I felt like Indiana Jones finding the rarest of treasures. In seconds she was pages away and I had to beg her to return to it fearing it would be lost again forever.

I can now rest my weary soul in knowing this will forever available for easy viewing on fair ol’ I Was Ben.

Oh Ralph…

Untitled-2

Holy shit. I haven’t played Second Life in ages, but Ralph may have motivated me to get back in the game. I got this pic of pure beauty from reddit.com, which is easily my new addiction… until I join Ralph in digital voyeurism.

Finally…the Future.

The Brothers’ Wintle would often rent one game for the weekend from Bonanza Video in Welland, Ontario, Canada. They not only taught us life lessons, but showed us glimpses of what was to come in the future.
