At Least The Kids Liked Them

These are bookmarks are from my time in retail several years back. We were expected to hand them to customers, presumably to track our sales though corporate denied it at first. I drew well over a hundred of them without repeats. I even took requests.

I Should Regret War

I’m with Garfield. Herriman brightens this otherwise gloomy day, from Don Marquis’ the lives and times of archy and mehitabel in celebration.

Trashed

Nick over at DVD Trash has decided to fill the gap left by the departure of my own Horror Roundtable with a new forum, the DVD Trash Roundtable. Unlike the Horror Roundtable, Nick’s questions will run a gamut of genres, so you have no excuse not to join in the fun. His first topic is “When you’re alone, what is your Wintry Friday Night Evening Wrapped in a Blanket Horror Movie? Basically the genre movie you curl up on the couch with!” Why not suggest a title not yet released to DVD, just to be a pain in the ass?

K’un-Lun Calling

Seeing as Marvel Ultimate Alliance is at least partially responsible for the creation of this blog, I thought it would be worth noting that the sequel will contain 100% more kung-fu with the introduction of the Immortal Iron Fist. Having Luke Cage in the first one without the additional option for a Heroes For Hire team-up was one of the biggest failings of that game. I can’t wait to see the alternate costumes, especially since they seem to start with the worst designs first.
