Thank you baby black Jesus for leading me to this holiest of holy treasures. I rarely buy anything here in Osaka, but I just couldn’t resist plunking down the ¥300 for some big noggin’ super heroics.
I was kinda disappointed to get Spider-man. I love Puny Parker and all, but it doesn’t seem special seeing him on funky merchandise, unlike the other characters available.

Ironman looks great with such an overwhelming melon. The ol’ Canobble Head looks like he’s waiting for a swift kicks to the x-berries.
Now these guys are the treasures I’d like to score. With my love of all things Thing; Ben would be the greatest to get, but Hulk looks so freaking awesome too. Anger!
And then there’s the Secret….

The Hulk is my favourite, but I wouldn’t knock that Spidey.
No clue who the Secret character is, though from the pose I’d guess it’s an alternate Spider-man.
And is it just me, or does that Wolverine look more menacing on the package than he does as the actual toy.

Yeah, I thought it weird that of all the characters, Wolvie was the least menacing. I do like Spidey, but there’s just SO MUCH spider-man merchandise out there that it doesn’t feel as special to me for some reason.
For the secret character I at first thought it was Venom (or black costume Spidey), then I thought it could possibly be Daredevil if the horns are small enough and at the front of his giant noggin.
I think the Hulk is my favourite too. He’s the most… I dunno… “uniquely interpreted”? Something like that. I might have to cough up the extra yen sometime.

That Secret has a very Beast/Nightcrawler pose. If this was an American thing, I’d say it was probably a female character (and probably one familiar from movies and TV) like Rogue or Sue Richards.
But it ain’t American. Who would squat like that? Daredevil, probably. He had a movie….
